IFS Consultation
Spiritual Dimensions of IFS
For IFS therapists and practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of spirit guides, ancestral healing, unattached burdens, spiritual experiences and more.
Drawing from my extensive training and experience in shamanism, transpersonal psychology, and Systemic Family Constellations, as well as IFS, I offer individual consultation for IFS therapists and practitioners who want to explore spiritual dimensions of their work and expand the resources available to themselves and their clients. I bring grounded and practical perspectives to these topics and pay close attention to embodied practices and integration of spiritual experiences.
We will compassionately explore what is arising internally for you and your clients around these topics and support you in feeling more grounded and confident in working in these areas.
Consultation is individualized and collaborative. Bring a specific client or clinical question, an area where you feel stuck, a spiritual dimension of your work you'd like to explore, or simply a curiosity about how these perspectives might enrich your IFS practice.
Topics we might address
• Spirit Guides & Allies
Developing relationships with compassionate spiritual allies and sources of guidance. Discernment when opening to spiritual support.
• Parts Who Block Spiritual Connection
Working with parts who fear, distrust, or feel unsafe with spirituality, mystery, or direct knowing. May include parts with religious wounds or burdens.
• Ancestral Legacy Burdens and gifts
Identifying and unburdening ancestral burdens. Discovering the wisdom, love, resilience, and other gifts that may also be carried within a lineage.
• Unattached Burdens
How to identify and work with UBs including working with any parts that have concerns or fears related to UBs.
• Systemic Cultural Dynamics
Bringing a systemic perspective to explore how parts and inner dynamics may be connected to and carry systemic cultural patterns and burdens, both for practitioner and client; unburdening cultural burdens.
• Nature as a Source of Healing & Relationship
Exploring Nature as a source of grounding, wisdom, relationship, and spiritual support, and ways that nature connection can be integrated into IFS practice to expand the relational field.
• Intuition & Direct Knowing
Exploring the role of intuition and embodied knowing in the therapeutic relationship while maintaining curiosity, discernment, and respect for the client's own experience.
• Past Life burdens
How to identify and work with parts that carry burdens from a past life.
• Shamanic Journeying
Exploring how shamanic journeying can deepen and enhance connection with parts and their healing.
• Integrating Spiritual Experiences
Creating space to explore, make meaning of, and integrate spiritual experiences into everyday life. This may include dreams, synchronicities, intuitive knowing, energetic experiences, processing psychedelic medicine journeys, and the power of ritual and ceremony.
My perspective
My approach is shaped by many years of personal exploration, professional experience, and training across diverse psychological, spiritual, and experiential traditions. I began my career as a psychiatrist for 14 years before following a deeper calling into healing and spiritual work. My training has included meditation, hypnosis, Holotropic Breathwork™, transpersonal psychology, past life regression, shamanism, IFS (Level 3), and Systemic Family Constellations.
Through my shamanic training, I have learned from and engaged in experiential work with traditional healers and shamans from diverse traditions in the U.S. and internationally. My work in Systemic Family Constellations has deepened my understanding of how family, ancestral, and wider systemic patterns shape our inner and outer lives.
I bring these perspectives together with IFS, honoring both the depth of our inner worlds and the ways our healing is supported by our relationships with Spirit, Nature, ancestors, and community.
